This is piece is inspired by the work of Milton Glaser. I wanted to recreate a work based on his style: bright colors, simplified line art and analog like text. The images I chose were from various fashion magazines. I recreated the models limiting my use of line, and making them faceless. I then scanned the images into the computer and reworked them in illustrator (Milton would not approve). Milton Glazer believes that most of our work should be done by hand, and drawing is one of the most important tools we have. I feel this piece brings forth many ideas that Glaser worked with, at the same time putting my own twist on the work. Meghan O'Connor
