The two magazines covers that I designed are based on Henry Henry Wolf's idea of surrealism and fashion. His clean design and use of imagery showed design as a way to connect photographs and images.

Wolf (b. 1925) started out as an art director. Then he started working for Esquire and Bazaar magazines. He used conceptual photographs that are surreal and uncommon to see. He worked with fashion and the beauty of women. Wolf's design is unique. His use of type plays off his design. He takes his type and makes it interact with the image that he is using. His design is clean but fun. Even now, Bazaar reflects the design look that Wolf pioneered.
