Corinne's Vineyard Exploration
project duration : two semesters

I propose to create my own wine business. This project will encompass the steps involved from the actual wine-making process to the production and design characteristics of the labeling.

During the Fall and Spring of 2005, I plan to build a solid background with the investigational work of producing the wine along with creating my own business. In doing so, I hope to overcome obstacles that broaden my knowledge through the collection of data that I receive during experimentation and research.

Through this research and discovery, this project will teach me the disciplines of constructing a business along with marketing schemes of the distribution of a product through a creative labeling design. Since wine making has been around for centuries, this will help in producing a tasty product but entail my personalized qualities of my design learned at Montserrat.

Some of my personalized characteristics will range from an individualized wine blend, a labeling system alongside a "how to do" book or Flash presentation containing photos, text and possibly sketches detailing the procedures orchestrated within my wine making process.

This project will exploit Seminar by working independently to encompass a gathered collection of material that will sustain a final outcome. My final outcome will be a product and business to further pursue beyond my experience at Montserrat.
