exploring resources

Start with the library's web catalog to locate books, videos and DVDs, and also to identify Library of Congress subject classifications that are relevant to your research.

  • The NOBLE catalog represents the holdings of the 28 libraries in the NOBLE consortium, including Montserrat and nine other academic libraries.

To request, renew, and place holds on books, type in your 14-digit student ID number (on student ID) and PIN. (Or this may be done at the circulation desk).

Montserrat uses the Library of Congress Classification system to identify and locate items. Most books on the topic of education are in the L section in the library stacks. Art education is in N and NX. Human development and child psychology are in BF.

    journals and magazines (paper copies)

The library subscribes to Art Education: Journal of the National Art Education Association, School Arts, and Arts and Activities.
